Rabouni Rehabilitation Center
Located on the grounds of the Hospital Nacional in Rabouni, the Rehabilitation Center supports individuals with paralysis, congenital malformations, and those recovering from accidents or amputations by providing physiotherapy and assistive devices to help them lead as pain-free and independent a life as possible. The center also operates satellite stations in other camps. Funded by an NGO over the past 16 years, it has been widely regarded as a successful model. However, at the end of 2023, the organization was forced to discontinue its financial support. To ensure the center’s continued operation and allow more time to secure new institutional sponsorship, medipalestine assumed the center’s operating costs for one year.
